Beautifull sounding Smygin (Smigin) Balalaika ALTO instrument

Up for sale is a GREAT sounding, highest grade, three-string balalaika ALTO with maple back.

The instrument was made in 1998 by Smygin (who was a Tchaikovsky factory luthier back then) and it is in very good condition. G.Smygin was considered as one of the best balalaika makers out there and his alto balalaikas were especially good. 

This is a quality balalaika alto and plays as good (if not better) than any modern high-class instruments. 

This instrument sound is just like it should -  full, loud, open, with lush overtones and lots of warm low end that you would expect from an alto balalaika. 

The construction is rock solid - there are no "breathing" cracks, constructively it's very tight built and you will feel the quality right at the moment when you take it in your hands. The woods used are - spruce top, slightly flamed maple back. The neck is rosewood. 

This instrument is 100% ready to play and does not demand any investments and comes with an original gigbag.
