Up for sale is an incredible-sounding CONCERT grade four-string Domra ALTO instrument with a deep-flamed maple back. It's handmade by one of the best Tchaikovsky luthiery domra builders, Zubchencko.
This instrument is new old stock, was made by Zubchenko in 2015 for the All-Russian luthier contest, and was kept as luthier's reserve since then. The Domra made of the best, exhibition-grade wood - naturally dried flamed maple, resonant spruce; the neck is made using a rosewood with an ebony fretboard.
The condition of the instrument is just like new, the only cosmetic flaw is a tiny (5mm) hair-thin scratch on the rosette flower part. Otherwise - the finish is perfect.
The sound of this instrument is amazing - it's deep, wide, warm, full of rich overtones, and great low-end frequencies. The built quality is impeccable, super-accurate as all concert-grade Zubchenko domras.
A padded soft case (semi-hard) is included in an auction. An instrument like this will cost you way more than 2K$ if ordered from the Tchaikovsky factory these days and they are currently back-ordered until 2023.
