Up for sale - a second grade/student balalaika with maple body, maple neck, and rosewood "pantzir" shield!   This beautiful balalaika was built by one of the luthiers from the Tchaikovsky workshop and if you're looking for a good quality luthier-made, a well-sounding instrument without spending too much money - here's your chance to get one!

While moderately priced - this balalaika can be your workhorse for years to come!   The sound of this instrument is full and bright, the neck is comfortable and it definitely a better investment than Chinese copies/mass market balalaikas that can be found at this price!

There is a hair-thin finish crack at the ink-drawn «rosette» part of the body top, which does not affect playability in any way.

Other than that — the instrument is new.
