Just in! Amazing sounding Russian BALALAIKA instrument #1 by TOP modern luthier

Hello guys! Up for sale amazing sounding, Special order, Concert grade Russian Folk balalaika with ebony neck, ebony fretboard, ebony Pantzir, and highly flamed body. This balalaika was one of two instruments we acquired by us at the famous All-Russia folk music instruments competition “Sozvezdie Masterhov” and was made by one of the best modern balalaika luthiers. 

This "Sozvezdie Masterhov" competition is being held once in a year in Gnesins Academy of Music  Moscow Russia). Every luthier provides one or two of their best sounding balalaikas or domras for jury consideration. The chairman of the jury this time was Valeriy Zazhighin and my dad - Alexander Tsygankov.  You can see stickers with numbers on the headstock that were used during contest blind tests. 

We were literally blown away by its sound and build quality of this balalaika when we first saw it live, it is super accurately made and sounds just great!! The sound is full, loud, rich in overtones with a nice low end.  

The fretwork is flawless. This instrument features a thin ebony neck and unique “heelless” design so you can reach high frets with no effort. As you may see on photos - the hell is mounted inside the body and that makes this balalaika super easy to play at high positions. You will not be able to find a better made or better sounding instrument no matter how much money you are going to spend.  A similar instrument will cost you about 3000$ if ordered from the Tchaikovsky factory and the waiting time is about 1.5 years.
